Job Responsibilities:
Project & Product Management
Lead global cross-functional teams (up to 50 members) across engineering, QA, marketing, and outsourcing partners.
Drive full product development lifecycle including planning, requirement gathering, and stakeholder coordination.
Manage progress, quality, cost, and delivery using both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.
Define and oversee product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing.
Agile & Scrum Leadership
Serve as Scrum Master for development teams, conducting sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Drive Agile maturity and optimize team performance through metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, bug trends).
Implement standardized tracking via tools like JIRA and Redmine.
Digital Transformation & Automation
Develop and deploy Python-based automation tools to improve operational efficiency (e.g., ticket updates, test data processing).
Introduce AI tools and simulators for patent verification and product testing environments.
Business Operations & Strategic Initiatives
Contribute to cost reduction through workflow optimization, outsourcing, and process digitization.
Support business operations including budgeting, tax filing coordination, and patent application processes.
Drive organizational development including talent acquisition, training, and team leadership development.
Job Qualifications:
20+ years in project/product management within the semiconductor, embedded software, or high-tech industries.
Demonstrated experience in managing international teams and outsourcing relationships (India, China, Vietnam, Taiwan).
Proven success in leading Agile development and organizational transformation.
Strong hands-on experience with JIRA, Redmine, and Python-based tool development.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Agile/Scrum certification (Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting global certification for memory devices or embedded systems (GAFAM clients or similar).
Familiarity with Six Sigma, quality assurance programs, and process modeling tools.
Technical knowledge in C++, embedded systems, and simulation frameworks.
Language Skill: Native level Japanese (JLPT N) and Business english level.
